Film Frenzy! Banff Edition.

Okay, so now that you've drooled all over your nice, crisp dress shirt/blouse; we want to make sure that you know that The Banff Mountain Film Festival is coming to Freddy Beach! If you are reading this blog, you probably already know that, but we want to triple check that you don't miss out on this event.

The screening is happening on February 1st and 2nd at MacLaggan hall on the UNB Campus. The show kicks off at 7pm both evenings; with different films each night so if you want to get your fill, be sure to grab tix for both nights. You can pick up your tickets at either Radical Edge (386 Queen Street OR 129 Westmorland) for 12 bucks a pop or $14 at the door if there are any left over.

We want to thank the UNB Rock & Ice club on behalf of everyone for hosting this festival year after year. It is always a great night of adventure, emotions and sweet, sweet giveaway swag.

We also want to mention that the UNB Rock & Ice club is putting on a Banff Climbing Competition on Saturday, February 2nd. If you are in town for the film fest and you are a climber, be sure to swing by the climbing wall in the Lady Beaverbrook gym and compete, or just watch the fun. Registration starts at 11:00am and the comp should get under way by 11:30am. And if you are looking for a brand spanking new pair of competition shoes, don't forget about our Evolv sale on right now!
