It's that time of year again where UNB Rock and Ice is putting on the famous Ice School! If you love rock climbing and want to keep climbing outside in the winter months, these guys will give you a great how-to lesson! All equipment is provided, except for your winter clothes of course.
you don't need to know a THING about climbing!

UNB Rock & Ice taking registration for club members, and non club members can begin to register on Feb 1st; contact Chris at climb@unb.ca to get yourself onto a waiting list.
This event sells out every year, so make sure you claim your space as soon as possible. It is a full 2 days, so make sure you are prepped for winter camp! If you need any warm clothes or camping gear, give us a shout at the shop!

Soon you'll be climbing like this guy:
Don't forget that we have the Complete Guide To Ice Climbing in New Brunswick, by Joe Kennedy here at the shop, so once you build some mad skill, you can check out some of the posted routes around NB, or scale some uncharted routes!
We love to hear about your climbing adventures! Send us photos of your best/favorite climbs and we'll post em up! adventure@radicaledge.ca

  1. Thanks for the shout-out! Yep... if you're interested you can drop me a line. climb@unb.ca.

Just a note: no winter camping involved. That tends to spook people out more than falling ice daggers! Cheers.
