The Future is Here!!

Let's just go ahead and solve all of the problems that we have with lightweight hiking, right here, right now:..shall we?

KLYMIT: INERTIA X-FRAME:

This handy little sleeping pad is something that we stumbled across while in SLC, Utah at the OR Trade Show. The company, Klymit, is from Ogden, Utah and have it figured out. This sleeping mat weighs a scant 9.1oz and can easily fit into a nalgene bottle (3" x 6" when packed).

literally, the size of a small pita.

So, how could this be comfortable, you ask? The design of the frame is based on body mapping pressure points, and axing the areas of the pad that can create weight where you don't need it.
The other neat feature is the "Loft Pocket" technology - by making small pockets in the pad, your sleeping bag's insulation can be juuuuust off the mat and stay lofty instead of being smooshed into the pad, or the ground, keeping your core temps up, making it an awesome pad for 3 season camping.

comfortable, and amusing.

One question we've heard plenty of this afternoon since putting the demo onto the floor is - "but what if I want to sleep on my side?" Our answer: "go ahead." The pressure body map takes into account that not everyone is going to sleep on their back all the time (who does that?!). So it is just as comfy on your side.

makes you wanna try it out, doesn't it?

Because of it's comfort, epic weight, winning price ($99.95), and accessories included (hand pump, repair kit & stuff sack), it is definitely this summer's MUST HAVE!

Come on in and try it out if you don't believe us.
