Whatever Floats Your Boat!

Nothing is worse than boat envy. On your commute to work every morning you see that guy/gal in the bright yellow kayak gliding down the glassy river in the sunrise and you think to yourself..."why don't I have a kayak!?"
Well, you can! We at Radial Edge are prepared to put you in the best boat for your lifestyle, whether it be a cottage kayak that finds its home at the docks, or you are gearing up for an extended sea kayak trip, we've got you covered.
Wilderness Systems has been making some big waves in the last couple years - in fact, they have claimed the title "Best Boat Manufactures" and there is good reason for it. These boats perform like no other kayak on the market, they are effortless to paddle and have hands down, the most comfortable, fully adjustable seating system on most models, making them extremely versatile.

If you are still envious of that bright yellow boat, but don't like the idea of sitting IN the kayak, there are a number of models where you can sit ON the boat. These boats allow you to sit above the water, and on top of the boat; these boats are also made sturdily. They have a flat bottom making it a serious challenge to tip over. If this sounds like you, try the Tarpon series.
If you don't want to take the rivers and lakes on alone, a tandem kayak is a perfect fit for two. The "Pamlico", a boat in the rec category is available in a tandem; the perks of this boat, is that you can also paddle this guy solo. The seating system (Phase 3, super comfy) is on a slide track, and the front seat can be moved to the center of the boat, making it suitable for one. Or, by moving the seat to the very back of the boat, you create a bucket seat, perfect for little ones or man's best friend (the beer OR the dog, both are reliable.) The Tarpon series also has a tandem, for those who like to take a higher perspective.
If fishing ah-lures you, Wilderness Systems offers a variety of angling kayaks, with the most popular being the Commander. This boat is available with or without the fishing gadgets (rod older, anchor..etc) but the real catch is that the seat is removable! (okay, the puns are done). By kicking out the seat, you are able to sit on top of the bench like a canoe, and tadaaa, the sit in seat turns into a great campchair.
Tomorrow, we are pairing up with Confluence Watersports (the mother company of Wilderness Systems) and we are bringing all the boats in the Wilderness Systems line to the Small Craft Aquatic center from 12pm to 5pm and we want you to give them a try! So if you are thinking about buying a boat, but aren't sure where to start, come on down and chat us up, ask us all the questions you can and we are positive we'll find you the perfect boat. You can test out as many as you like just so you know what floats your boat.

This event is weather permitting. If you have any questions about the event proceeding, please contact The Radical Edge at 459-DIRT ext 2 the morning of June 9th (tomorrow), or check our twitter updates, or facebook page
